Diamond Diplomacy Sneak Preview Film Screening

Diamond Diplomacy

Kick off our Hall of Fame Film Series with a sneak preview of Diamond Diplomacy, followed by a Q&A with director Yuriko Romer.

The film tells the little known story of 150 years of history between the U.S. and Japan through the shared love of baseball. The film is structured around the baseball stories of two former players, Masanori “Mashi” Murakami and Warren Cromartie, and weaves through key points in history examining subjects like racism, international relations, and the influence of sports.

This event will take place at the Fenimore Art Museum. Admission is free, but a ticket must be reserved.

The Hall of Fame Film Series is part of a Memorial Day Weekend celebration. For more information about the weekend, click here
